Lightening Queen

about

By nature I am a loner and an introvert. My girlfriend is a social bee and an extrovert. We both naturally gravitate towards opposite sides of the spectrum... so far that we actually end up right next to each other. She has helped me develop a social strength and confidence that I have never had before. I owe a lot of my laughter and scrapes during my second senior year to her. She's electric and I wouldn't trade her for the world.

lyrics

The Queen’s got a backpack
Loaded with Red Bulls
She clinks around in silver scales
Her armor never rips
Her armor never fails
No, no
No, no, no
No, no, no

I don’t want to go outside
And I don’t want to even try
To pretend
That I like crowded rooms (oooo)

Her fingertips have lightening
Stemming from her spine
She floats around on thunder clouds
Her power never slips
Her power never drowns
No, no
No, no, no
No, no, no

I don’t want to go outside
And I don’t want to even try
To pretend
That I like crowded rooms (oooo)

The queen keeps me sheltered
Under her black wings
We fly above the cobbled streets
Her beauty never dies
Her beauty never leaves
No, no
No, no, no
No, no, no

I don’t want to go outside
And I don’t want to even try
To pretend
That I like crowded rooms (oooo)

She takes me on great adventures
and I don’t want to try
To remember
That I liked being alone.
